It can feel confusing and stressful because you’re left wondering what about you is different. This transit often will make the way others see you and their feelings towards you change completely. People that enter your life during this time are going to be huge factors in the transformation you experience. It can also bring a strange, potentially abusive relationship into your life. It can also often result in divorce or the break up of long term friendships due to power struggles and jealousy. It’s as if those around you are insanely jealous of everything you have and in turn will do anything to make you fail whether it be attempt to attack your job or ruin your friendships and partnerships. People I know that have experienced this transit have had incidents with things like sabotage or stalkers. You might attract obsessive people or in worse cases, stalkers or abusive partners.
Pluto crossing your Descendant: This transit can be similar to Pluto crossing your Ascendant except it’s as if it’s effecting other people rather than you. Pluto however, will make us figure out the puzzle before us and look deeper into what he’s trying to tell you. With Saturn, his teachings can be more obvious and general. He has something to show us and teach us. Basically, this transit can be scary and strange but you will feel different and better once he leaves. Pluto now is still conjunct my Ascendant and I don’t think I will fully feel the transformative effects until he moves entirely out of conjunction or even leaves my 1st house completely. I personally had a very bad car accident, experienced major trauma and developed OCD during this transit. I think this can be a hugely beneficial transit to experience in your lifetime. It changes the way you carry yourself and the way you treat other people. Pluto’s transforming power is literally pointed directly at your entire chart through your ascendant. It’ll change the way you see the world and think about things. While this transit can be scary and painful, you can find comfort in knowing that you will come out of it as a better person overall. We’ve got the Ascendant which is literally the ruler and arguably the basis of your entire chart and Pluto the planet of death, transformation and taboo being conjunct over the basis of quite a few years but being exactly on the degree for a small part of that time. This transition literally changes your life. Pluto crossing your Ascendant: A lot of people report like incredible hurt during this time whether it be lose a loved one or have a near death experience. I literally would have to live to 175 to experience it cross my Descendant. It will not reach 18 degrees Cancer until 2173. Pluto transited my Ascendant in 2017 and is now in my first house.
So for this person to experience Pluto cross their Ascendant and Descendant, they would have to live to 86 and on the off chance, have their ascendant be at 29 degrees Leo.Īnother example is that I personally have my Ascendant at 18 degrees Capricorn. Now Pluto will not be at 29 degrees Aquarius until 2042. This would mean that their Descendant is at 29 degrees Aquarius. If their Ascendant was at 29 degrees Leo, they will experience Pluto cross their Ascendant very very early in their lives (and it would obviously be conjunct). For example, someone born in January 1956 would have Pluto at 28 degrees Leo. The only way this is possible is if they are have Pluto cross their AC or DC very early in their lives and have it opposite very late.
Pluto can take up to 25 years to make it through a sign completely so it would be uncommon I suppose for someone to experience Pluto cross both their Ascendant and Descendant in their lifetime. In this post I want to talk specifically about Pluto transiting your Ascendant and Descendant.
